Meccano has been inspiring children to build bigger and build better for over 100 years. In 2015, Meccano entered the world of robotics with the launch of the Meccanoid programmable robots.
In 2017, we are excited to launch the Meccanoid Education series. The Meccanoid Education platform is a new learning environment, built using STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math) principles, to introduce students to the world of computer science, programming and robotics using the Meccanoid XL robot. Meccanoid XL, a humanoid robot, is the perfect medium to create a kid-friendly interactive bi-directional interface.
